The Requirements

PharmaConex, Ireland's leading pharmacy recruitment agency, connects pharmacists and locum pharmacists with positions nationwide. To enhance the experience for both locum pharmacists seeking shifts and pharmacies advertising vacancies, an update to PharmaConex's existing portal was required. The new version would leverage the latest technologies and, crucially, support mobile use through a dedicated app available in app stores.

Furthermore, the database would allow pharmacies to advertise shift vacancies, specifying details and pay rates. Locum pharmacists could then search and apply for these shifts, ensuring seamless coverage.

Our Solution

Blueberry developed a comprehensive solution: a robust website and an intuitive mobile application. The website provides pharmacies with a platform to post available shifts, detailing requirements and compensation. Locum pharmacists can easily navigate the site to find and apply for suitable opportunities.

Alongside this, Blueberry developed a mobile app to enhance accessibility for locums. This app allows them to receive alerts and sign up for shifts directly from their mobile devices. The mobile app has been particularly well-received by locum pharmacists, as it provides the convenience of receiving real-time alerts and managing their schedules on the go.
